Nature Education
The Forest School ethos is something that brings a lot of value to children and the schools they attend across England. The history of Forest School originates in Scandinavia, where outdoor living is more of a way of life. Colder more remote climates have had to adapt to living with the harsher Seasons. There is endless fun and learning to be had immersed in Natures playground, the benefits of which can sometimes be quite surprising. Resilience and confidence building are among our favourite because the process of problem solving using both body and mind brings so much joy to not only children, but Adults too.
The focus of Moments of Calm is to increase access for all, including teenagers, adults and families, particularly anyone looking to develop their confidence, strength or ability outside. Forest School invites us to be curious and more playful. This approach sparks imagination, inspiration and discovery. Combining woodland crafts, creative walks, and time to explore in our own way, allows for self development, socially and emotionally.

Workplace Wellbeing
We recognise the importance of Workplace Wellbeing. Nature has a way of providing space for development, both in self as well as in relationships. An opportunity to learn and inspire, whilst being given time to step away from the workplace can improve staff morale, concentration and attendance level. Mental Health costs workplaces in the region of 3 million pounds, every single year, due to reasons ranging from low productivity and absenteeism, to increased long term sickness and staff turn over.
Providing your teams with permission to step outside, learn something new and share with others can bring the unexpected bonus that they discover their wellbeing.
For corporate training, workplace wellbeing walks and team building days, get in touch to discuss how Nature can improve the wellbeing of your organisations workforce.
