Nature Therapy
Within our Not for Profit project, we create real life experiences, walks and activities for those who may need it most, as well as calming media content for the eyes, mind, and ears of those who cannot access Nature as easily. Spending time in Nature, led by our qualified leader allows you to switch off time, thoughts, and internal navigation systems, allowing you to fully immerse, whilst building a deeper connection with your surroundings.
Whether you’re looking for a walking guide, interested in discovering the wonders of Foraging, or would love to host a communal campfire & feast, we have a range of activities to learn, explore and immerse yourself in Nature with.
The Science
Many of us can acknowledge that mental health has an impact on our physical health and vice versa. Our Nature Therapy combines the science, with the fundamental principles and benefits together, providing soothing results.
For many of us, a stressful work life, busy families, and over use of technology and media, can leave us feeling overwhelmed and burnt out, which if left unchecked can lead to symptoms of anxiety and depression. All signs that we need to look after our wellbeing. A moment to take a break, a moment to refocus, a moment in Nature.
The History
Nature provides a variety of benefits, some of which are visible to the human eye, most however are not visible. Some, we even refer to at Moments of Calm as ‘Magic‘, because the sights, sounds and scents of the Forest contain Magic; Natural Magic.
These benefits have been known for time, for generations, through our ancestors, through our Celtic and Gaelic histories, from pharmaceuticals and Healthcare, to herbal teas and modern day nutrition. This ‘Magic‘ has been influencing us since the beginning of time, our project is influenced by Ancient knowledge and wisdom that is truly undeniable.
Nature Therapy at Home
Moments of Calm have created a range of products that allows you to bring some of the benefits of Nature Therapy, home.
The ingredients we have chosen create a completely different experience for body and mind, backed by the science of Shinrin Yoku (Forest Bathing) and Aromatherapy, utilising the best compounds in biochemistry that improve our overall well-being.
From reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression, to easing migraines and assisting restful sleep, this recipe is very special, and delivers an Ancient kind of Healing, derived sustainably, responsibly and ethically from the Forest.
Beginning with an infused bath or shower salt, you can then apply a wildly pure body oil, full of minerals and magical plant based compounds that absorb into the skin, replenishing the benefits of the Forest.
